Agreement

If my class is approved, then I understand and accept the following responsibilities:

1.      To NOT teach or allow discussion of anything that would be in direct conflict with the faith statement of the KCH.

2.      To notify the KCH Co-op Director at least two weeks prior to the start of co-op registration if some unforeseen circumstance arises to prevent me from teaching my approved class.

1.      The Word of God: We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.  (2 Tim 3: 16-17, Hebrews 6:12, 2 Peter 1: 19-21)

2.      The Trinity:  We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, and that these each are equal in every divine perfection, working separately, yet together, in the work of creation, providence and redemption.  (Matt 28:19, Hebrews 1: 1-3, Matt 28:19)

3.      Salvation: We believe in the deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death for our sins by His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal return in power and glory.  We believe that all people are lost and without God in their natural state, but by the grace if God, those who exercise genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are saved-justified, baptized into His death and born again, from above, by the Holy Spirit.  (John 1: 1-18, Luke 1: 26-35, Romans 3: 24-25, 1 Peter 2:24, John 14: 1-3, Acts 1:11, Hebrews 6: 14-15, John 1: 12-13, John 3: 1-21, Romans 3: 23-24, Ephesians 2: 8,9, 1 Peter 1:23)

Those who take a position of leadership must be:

  • A believing and practicing Christian (Romans 10:9, 2 Timothy 1:13-14)
  • Seeking personal Christ-likeness in their life (Ephesians 2:10)
  • Desiring to serve Christ through ministry and a passion to see God's kingdom grow (1 Peter 5:3)
  • Willing to submit to decisions of the KCH Board and Co-op Leadership (Hebrews 13:17, Titus 3:1)
  • Trustworthy and reliable (Titus 2:6)
  • Willing to serve to the best of their ability using the gifts God has given them (1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, Ephesians 4)
  • Willing to consent to the Biblical creation model (Genesis 1-2)
